The vision

Work worth hearing.
People worth knowing.

An original performance. A story with something behind it. An audience ready to listen. Spotlight Next Up is a proposed artist discovery pilot built around those three things.

01 / THE WORK

Bring something real.

The planned submission format centers on one original song or performance, a short story and an authorized portrait.

02 / THE STORY

More than a number.

Editorial profiles will put the person and the creative work first. No proposed follower minimum for this discovery series.

03 / THE RECOGNITION

Something to keep.

Proposed recognition includes an editorial feature and a GetLife social spotlight. Full benefits and delivery terms will be published before entries open.

How the pilot is being designed

Audience voice.
Editorial craft.

Audience Choice is planned around verified public voting. A separate Editors’ Selection would recognize the creative work independently of audience size.

Eligibility, dates, selection criteria, vote rules and final prizes will be published before entry begins. No paid votes are planned. Buying merchandise will not improve selection or voting power. Participation will not guarantee a recording deal, funding or release support.
